The Northwest Maritime Center is a respected sailing school committed to providing top-quality sailing education to enthusiasts of all levels. We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Adult Sailing Instructor to join our team and inspire students to develop their sailing skills in a safe and enjoyable environment. As the Adult Sailing Instructor, you'll be guiding classes on our Cal 20 and Catalina 250 keelboats. Each student wraps up the experience with a US Sailing membership, a logbook, and a Basic Keelboat Certification. We keep it intimate, with only up to 4 students on board each class. What makes a great team member for us? Someone who can navigate the dynamic environment of teaching sail to novices, all while keeping a calm demeanor. You will need to genuinely understand and address the needs of our adult students through clear and effective communication. So, if you're into the idea of spending your summer on the waters of the Salish Sea, sharing your love for sailing, and creating lasting memories, we'd love to have you on deck. Let's sail into summer together!
